GOLDISH GARDEN PICNIC

My name is Alina Goldish and I love a good house-party 😎 but this time it was a garden one!

I love hosting and and entertaining, baking and decorating, creating festive atmosphere on a regular day. And this year I've decided to organise something with a summery vibe, in a garden surrounded by 150-year old trees, for a bigger circle of people than just my family and close friends. And you know what🥹 it turned out to be best memory of this summer!

Everyone had a hand fan, a small thermal water station where the bottle was placed along the champagne - in an ice bucket.

We had light snacks, I baked a cake. It's nothing special: angel cake with mascarpone cream. But it's our old family recipe which is a quick and easy one! You can find the recipe on my Instagram page.

I personally enjoyed a watermelon in the very end! It was incredibly sweet and juicy. When I was getting it at the market, the scale couldn't even catch the right weight, because it was huge 🤭 we had to cut it right there and weigh all pieces separately.

Later in the evening we all tried different cocktails and the music became just a bit louder. People connected so well! I loved every second of that day.

Maybe it sounds too cheesy 😅 but the most magical moment of the picnic was 10 minutes before the rain. Imagine: it's almost dark, all candles are lit, sound of thunderstorms, first rain drops ending up on cheeks, hands. Time froze. So magical!
