When it comes to caviar, there are a few commonly held beliefs that have emerged over time. While some of these may hold a grain of truth, it's important to note that caviar is a diverse and dynamic food, and not all clichés may accurately represent its true nature. Here are a few preconceptions associated with caviar:

  1. Caviar is only a luxury food: Caviar has long been associated with luxury and opulence. It is often perceived as a delicacy reserved for special occasions and high-end dining only.

  2. Caviar has to be served with champagne: The combination of caviar and champagne is often considered a classic pairing.

  3. Caviar is overwhelmingly fishy.

  4. Caviar is always enjoyed on blinis or toast.


UMAI showcases that those clichés don't hold up and

there's a different, more diverse side to caviar. It's high quality, but still affordable. It can be served with wine and other beverages. Although UMAI caviar has a distinct flavour and aroma, it's not overly fishy.
